I am the newest addition to the NY Times newsroom! Gave my two weeks on Thursday, and it felt great, even if I was a little nervous and feeling a bit guilty.
It's funny that I ended up there, considering that 6 weeks ago I was looking at a position managing the grounds of a horse farm! But, it's actually a job I am pretty qualified for, in admin/human resources, and the staff I will be working with seems amazing. I actually KNOW some of them are, and if they are happy there, I will be too! Another great point is that this is the kind of experience which can lead me to international opportunities, if I look for them.
I knew a change was gone come!
