I've had some pink spotting going on since Monday afternoon. After melting into tears for an hour when I got home and then speaking to my midwife, Tuesday and Wednesday I worked from home with my feet up. I caught up on "Dexter" and watched Enchanted April
As far as the spotting goes, it faded a bit yesterday but has returned today, so I am thinking I may go home early. Obviously the bed-rest was working. I'll get a sonogram hopefully tomorrow, at the latest Monday just to make sure all is well. Not sure what follows. If it's bad news, well I do know...but I am trying not to let my thoughts wander in that direction just yet.
All of the roads are covered in broken ice fallen from tree branches and power lines. It looks like (depending on your disposition) thousands of broken wine glasses or giant diamonds. Pretty but DANGEROUS! And there is more snow/ice on the forecast. What is going on here?!? Last year was such a mild winter, I guess we are getting payback.
Yesterday as I was supervising G. getting dressed (if I don't she immediately finds something else more interesting to do, like twirl the ceiling fan with her swimming "noodle") she looked at me and said, "Momma, why can't we live in town instead of the woods? I want to live in Italy where there are people and dogs." I swear on my life I make a point of never speaking of things like "I wish I could..." in front of her. I don't want her to think that I am not happy with our life just the way it is. The irony of her statement, though, is that there are five dogs on our property who gang-about all day long. So I guess she means *new* dogs. Luckily there are not gangs of people who hang around!

Oh Em, I am sorry about the spots. I don't know what to tell you, it must be already stressful for you as it is.
I just rang one of my uncles in NY to wish him a happy birthday and he told me the snow and the ice are becoming problematic as there's no more room to put it! ANd it's pretty dangerous ...
So, be safe, take good care of you and your lovely fam and stay warm!
